Backfield Woodworking began with a simple goal: build furniture worth holding onto. What started in our first home—crafting pieces instead of buying throwaway ones—has grown into a full-time pursuit shaped by curiosity, skill, intention and care. Inspired by the fields we called the “Backfield” growing up, this work is about more than wood—it's about creating pieces that feel connected to you and your space
